Development & Self-Storage: A Natural Fit

In the late 1800s, two brothers in Omaha, Nebraska started the Bekins Company, a moving and storage business and the predecessor to the modern self-storage industry. The first chain units, primarily used for the storage of oil company equipment, appeared in Texas during the sixties. Today, both households and businesses utilize the convenience and accessibility of storage facilities. According to SpareFoot.com, self-storage units in the United States number close to 50,000, and 10 percent of households rent a self-storage unit.

DEVELOPMENT & SELF-STORAGE CONSTRUCTION

At Ebert Construction, we are in a unique position for both commercial self-storage facility construction and development. Clients often begin the process with our real estate development team.  Our development services include assembling the right team to entitle the project and reduce overall project costs. At the building stage, not only do we offer comprehensive design/build and construction management of the project, Ebert self-performs concrete and carpentry services, providing a competitive edge in controlling the price and project timeline.  With our self-storage capabilities, we offer further proof that Ebert Construction is your one-stop shop for commercial real estate development and construction.
