On August 17th, the Monticello School District celebrated the grand opening of the new Monticello Stadium! The new stadium consists of a main Team and Concession Building, Athletic Field, and Veteran’s Memorial. Ebert Construction was awarded the Team and Concession Building portion of the project. The building consists of two main areas; the front of the building is for ticket purchases, while the back is the concession stand. It was an exciting night, with a special memorial event for the communities’ veterans. Ebert was thrilled to be a part of this project in the Monticello Community.
Ebert Construction has wrapped up another project, the Monticello Papa Johns! This project consisted of a tenant build out of an old Cherry Berry location which was transformed into a brand new Papa Johns Pizza. The quick turnaround of the space was the biggest challenge of the project and we met that challenge by completing the project in time for their Grand Opening last Wednesday. Please keep a lookout in the local paper for an article about the event. This project was a joy to be a part of and we hope to continue working with them again in the future!
Here are some fun photos from the 2016 Shop with a Cop Event. We were more than happy to donate to this cause that is helping not only the children, but the families in our community!
Ebert Construction is delighted to announce the opening of the Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bagels in Buffalo, MN! The new 2,550 sq ft building sits along Highway 55 and the Corner of 3rd Ave in Buffalo next to the McDonalds. The first day of business was eventful and busy all morning as the residents of Buffalo were eager to check out the new business and get their gourmet coffee. We are proud to be a part of this project that has the community buzzing with excitement!
Ebert Construction feels very strongly about the safety of everyone on our jobsites. From 2009 to 2013 Minnesota OSHA (MNOSHA) reported 82 total workplace fatalities. Of those 82, 24 were construction related. The most common types of fatalities were falls and contact with an object or equipment. Ebert Construction is working hard to educate our employees and subcontractors to be up to date with the A.W.A.I.R (A Workplace Accident & Injury Reduction Act) program. We have implemented a written safety program with specific actions designed to reduce workplace accidents and injuries. Safety on every jobsite is very important to us and we will continue to train our employees to provide a safe work environment. For more information on the MNOSHA AWAIR Program please click here.
Ebert Construction attended the Contractor Round Robin for the Association of Women Contractors in the beginning of April. Ebert Construction was pleased to meet so many wonderful groups of women owned contractors. This was a great opportunity to network and build relationships with so many other individuals in the construction industry! Ebert Construction was proud to partner with the Association of Women Contractors and be a part of the 2014 Contractor Round Robin!
Ebert Construction was proud to be featured in Wright County Economic Development Partnership’s August newsletter. Our Vice President of Real Estate and Development along with our Marketing Coordinator sat down with a representative from WCEDP to discuss Ebert’s history and our work in the construction industry in Minnesota and more specifically Wright County. We enjoyed meeting with WCEDP to discuss the positive impact Ebert Construction has in our community and the local economy. WCEDP summed up the article with the following paragraph, “In essence, Ebert Construction is a vital contributor to our regional economy and is part of the backbone of the Partnership. Ebert’s support of the Partnership, alongside yours, has leveraged over $5,307,000 in Wright County. The extended impact of that development is countless—jobs, homes, services requested, and beyond. Ebert’s message and belief to continue to enhance the economic vitality of our region is to push the fact that… “We are open for business. We are individuals, yes, but we are connected and working together!”. We were very excited to be highlighted in WCEDP’s newsletter!
Ebert Construction finished wrapping up our third Walgreens Project in Mound, MN. The project consists of a new ground up retail outlet with 14,734 gross square footage. It fits well into the community of Mound on the corner of Commerce Blvd. Ebert Construction has enjoyed working with Walgreens Co and has received positive reviews from their team. “As Walgreen’s Field Project Manager with over 20 years of experience I’ve worked with many different contractors and it is not often I work with a company that is as thorough and attentive to detail as Ebert Construction, from both the project management and to the superintendent in the field. The projects are done right, through effective communication and teamwork approach to getting it done on time & under budget. I look forward to working with you more in the future,” said Steve Gish, Walgreen Co.’s Field Project Manager. We as well look forward to working with Walgreens Co more in the future!
